Q:

What happens to a seeker’s inner world when they really start to let go and accept life?

Vishrant:

They go to hell. Because they’ve repressed so much over a lifetime because we don’t live in a society that expresses we live in a society that represses. And so, when a seeker really lets go, they start going through the dark night of the soul, which is a form of hell. And if they resist it, it’s worse.

What’s best is acceptance of whatever appears a warm okayness with whatever appears this is best, but it’s difficult, but it’s the best. All the people who are close to someone who’s awake are always falling apart. It’s just how it is. Until there’s nothing left. Until the vehicle is empty, sattvic.

One of the problems with that occurring is quite often, as energy arises in people, the mind starts to try to understand what it’s feeling by putting a story to it. Those stories wouldn’t exist if the energy wasn’t rising. And so, quite often, those stories are victim orientated. Unfortunately, those types of stories create more density, not less.

So you have to be very careful of the mind when you start going through the dark night of the soul. You have to be careful that you don’t believe too much of what it’s telling you. Because it’s being affected by the energy that you’re purging.

Q:

Did the dark night of the soul affect your mind?

Vishrant:

Yes. That’s why I’m telling you what I’m telling you.

Q:

But you had a very disciplined mind, so did you not believe at this time, or you just completely close it down?

Vishrant:

I failed hundreds of times, probably thousands of times. You see, the difference between someone who’s awake and someone who’s not is the number of failures that have occurred that have been okayed. This is not an easy game, the game of higher consciousness is very difficult, and you fail a great deal.

But you don’t stop.

You just keep going.

And so, yeah, I went through the dark night of the soul, and I got caught so many times, and then I let go again and again and again. Until there was nothing left. Any teacher or anyone who tells you that this game is easy is lying to you.

It’s the hardest game on the planet.

But it’s the only game that’s worth playing the game of higher consciousness because lower consciousness seriously sucks.
