You’ve searched long enough. What if this is where your real journey begins?
Learn how your ego and belief systems create suffering and how to break free.
Enlightenment is not something the ego or mind can achieve. The “I” that thinks it is you cannot awaken, because it is only a dream built from memory and imagination. Enlightenment is when pure awareness, always present before thought, becomes aware of itself continuously. When this happens, the illusion of “I” dissolves and only reality remains. Enlightenment is beyond the mind. It is not knowledge, belief, or control which facilitate and support enlightenment, only unconditional surrender and openness do.
An enlightened master is someone who has become enlightened, often through self-inquiry, meditation, or deep inner work, and has also mastered their own mind. Because they understand the psychology of the mind so deeply, they can guide others in undoing their own mental patterns and preparing for enlightenment. They “know the way” from direct experience.
An enlightened person is simply someone who has “woken up.” It doesn’t automatically make them a teacher or master; it just means they’ve found Truth as themselves and now live from that.
There is no single answer. Awakening can’t be pinned down to one trigger, it’s different for everyone. In Vishrant’s own case, the turning point was realising that everybody is suffering and that the only true way out of suffering is to wake up.
There is no universal checklist, signs vary for each individual. In Vishrant’s own experience, awakening began when he started to perceive himself as vast emptiness in the presence of his awakened teachers.
Inner peace is already here. The problem is we’re looking in the wrong direction—towards the mind instead of beyond it. Turn awareness back onto itself rather than onto your thoughts, and you’ll discover you are nothing but inner peace.
According to Vishrant, it’s “mind-f***ing”, living in the head. Over-analysing, calculating, procrastinating, dreaming, and staying caught in mental stories all disrupt the natural state of peace that’s already present.
“Self-acceptance is the foundation of higher consciousness. When you accept yourself and life as it is you become completely open. In openness you experience unconditional love.”
