The Personality Remains
“It’s not the personality that disappears, it’s the ego.”
The voice still speaks, the body still moves,
but the “I” is gone.
The sense of being a somebody going somewhere is gone.
Awakening does not erase your personality.
But the identity is no longer there.
The identified part of the mind disappears.
You remain as presence, free of the weight of any ownership.
Watch Satsang excerpt here:
The Trap of Reaction
“When we contract, we don’t see anything.”
A contracted mind closes the door to truth,
locked in the prison of resistance.
Every reaction feeds the illusion,
every contraction lowers your consciousness levels.
A cool mind rests like still water,
open, untroubled, free to see.
Relaxation serves higher consciousness,
and practice makes it possible.
Ruthless Honesty
“You can’t have a mind that bullshits you.”
Integrity is the foundation of clarity,
without it, the mind deceives itself.
Every lie, every excuse keeps you in lower consciousness.
To become conscious, you must be ruthlessly honest,
calling out every trick of thought.
No one can do this for you, only you can develop internal integrity.
The Persistence of Personality
The smile is still yours,
the gestures are still familiar.
You don’t become a saint or a sage,
your personality remains.
What dissolves is the sense of “I,”
the burden of carrying a self.
No “I”, no problem,
just freedom meeting the world.
The Fire of Totality
Half measures keep you bound,
totality opens the way to freedom.
Whatever you give yourself to,
give without holding back.
Success in anything – sport, art, business, spirituality,
it all depends on totality.
True Humility
“Humility happens as a lack of ego.”
It cannot be worn like a mask,
pretending always carries a bitter scent.
True humility comes from the absence of self.
No striving, no contest, no claim,
just ease with what is.
Will you discover true humility?
When the ego falls away, humility shines by itself.
In the stillness of Satsang,
you are invited to rest, to be seen,
and to discover for yourself what cannot be taught in words.
Come and sit in the presence of Satsang,
and see what unfolds for you.
